The USA Hockey Warrior Classic:

The USA Hockey Warrior Classic the sole national tournament dedicated to disabled U.S. military veterans who play ice hockey.

From October 28th to 30th, 2022, nearly 550 disabled military veterans from across the country will gather in in Troy, Michigan to participate in a weekend of hockey and share camaraderie with others who have served our nation.

These athletes have incurred various physical and mental disabilities during their military service and are living with these challenges daily.

Studies show that veterans participating in therapeutic recreation programs experience significant changes in mood states and perceived competences, as well as an overall reported improvement in their overall quality of life and psychological health.
